In an e-mail sent out this afternoon by student body President Andrew Paulsen, the schedule was spelled out for this semester’s campaign season:
- Information sessions for those interested in running for a position will be held tonight (2/14) and tomorrow night (2/15) at 9:15pm in the SGA offices in the Student Center
- Speech night will be next Tuesday (2/21) in the Performing Arts Room (PAR) located down the hall from the SGA offices.
- Meet the Candidates night will be Wednesday, February 22nd in the main dining hall at 5:15pm
- The student body presidential candidates debate will take place later that night (2/22). No specific time was given in the e-mail but SGA Senate Speaker Michael Johnson tells me it will be at 9:15pm in the MCTV studio.
More from Paulsen:
“There are many open positions available, and we would love for you to
run, get involved, and make a difference on campus…We hope the student body takes advantage of this opportunity to learn
more about student government and leave their mark on the Marist
